JRF Global is exhibiting and hosting a session on "Outsourcing to India - The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly..." at the American College of Toxicology conference in Palm Springs, California

Speaker: Dr.Leigh Berryman

Venue: Mesquite C

Date: November 8th, 2017

Time: 12 - 12:55 PM

Cost of outsourcing is a major factor in any decision-making process.  India is an extremely low cost environment by western standards, but Indian standards have also lagged behind western expectations.  At some point, the accelerated development of Indian infrastructure and science and general globalization of resources will mean that standards will become acceptable.  Can we identify this ‘tipping-point’ and so take advantage of a window of opportunity when standards are acceptable but costs are still behind western norms?

The presentation will address the 3 F’s....Foreign Fear Factors, with a view to de-mystifying processes and expectations because of national cultural differences.  The presenter will draw on personal experiences in outsourcing preclinical programs into both western and Indian CROs.
