Mammalian Toxicity
Chronic (Rodents and Non-Rodent)

Chronic (Rodents and Non-Rodent)

Our professional teams in India offer all the Mammalian Toxicology services.

Mammalian toxicology assessments the short-term and extended exposure  effects of the test compound on the biological functions.

The toxicology expertise at JRF encompasses a wide range of preclinical studies with rodents and non-rodents.  The studies are spread over a spectrum of specialties, viz. single dose, MTD, 4, 13, 26, 52 weeks and beyond repeated exposure studies.

The expertise branches out into the evaluation of genotoxic, developmental and reproductive influences as well as Endocrine Disruption using various routes of administration. These studies are performed in compliance with global regulatory guidelines, viz. ICH, EMA, and related guidelines for the European, US FDA and global healthcare product registration efforts.

Mammalian Toxicology (Rodents & Non Rodents)

Single exposure / Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD studies) studies using the following routes of exposure in rodents and non-rodents

  • Oral, dermal, Respiratory, including evaluation of sensitization potential.

Repeat exposure studies in Rodents & Non-Rodents

  • Sub-acute (1, 2 and 4 week exposures)
  • Sub-chronic Toxicity (13 weeks)
  • Chronic Toxicity (26-52 weeks)
  • Carcinogenicity and Combined Carci (78 weeks in mice and 104 weeks in rats)

Developmental & Reproductive Toxicology

  • Fertility and early embryonic development
  • Embryo fetal development
  • Pre & Post natal Developmental Toxicity
  • One and multi generation reproductive Toxicity

These studies can be offered to cover the cohorts to interpret the effects on the natural biological influences on Neurotoxicity

  • Neural systems
  • Respiratory systems
  • Renal systems,
  • Hepatic processing
  • Peripheral systems including bone marrow
  • Circulatory systems (Toxicokinetics)
