Genotoxicity is the study of the effect of chemicals on nucleic acid stability.

The branch of Genetic Toxicology has evolved in response to the concern that certain chemicals have been found to induce mutations in various experimental systems. These chemicals are likely to affect the incidence of heritable disease in man and/or be potentially carcinogenic. Various tests based on diversified mutagenic effects have been recommended by OECD, as well as OPPTS (OCPSS), for evaluation of mutagenic potential of the test chemicals.

JRF Global has over three decades of expertise and experience, well honed under the global scientists of repute in genotoxicity. JRF has a well organised, purpose-built facility to conduct all the standard in vivo and in vitro genetic toxicology assays. Each assay uses protocols that comply with harmonised international guidelines.
